What's up in the ARTS????

It's been pretty hectic around here. All of us have been working on getting used to our schedules and classes. I think we are in full swing.




The Band Instruments are coming. Band Delivery night is tonight, Sept 28 at 6pm. There will be representatives from various music companies here to rent and sell instruments. Can't wait for Beginning Band to start.




The Art Department is working on getting pieces ready for the upcoming Art Show. There will be 3 Art Shows this year. The Art teachers and students work really hard to get this up and running. Come by and supports us. Look for dates in upcoming entries.

First Full Week- And away we go!!!!!

Well, this is our first full week. We are now in the full swing of school. We've had our first fire drill and have seen all of our classes at this point. It's great to be back.

In Mrs. Gottschalk's music classes, we've been singing familiar songs and learning new ones. We also are working on steady beat. We've used rhythm sticks and drums several times. It's alot of fun.

Did you know that Sept 14 is the birthday of our National Anthem, " THe Star SPangled Banner"?
